In 2001, career nurse Elaine Lynch stepped away from medicine to open Eastfield Deli. For 18 years she made delicious soups and sandwiches by hand, and with a smile, surrounded by her family. Her granddaughter grew up here, and her son and husband often chipped in for the lunch rush.
In February 2019, Elaine decided it was time to retire. She passed the Deli over to Chris Kidd, a career Chef with 20 years experience who was looking to build a family business for his new baby girl, Corrie Jae. Chris’s vision is to take the same made-by-hand approach to making local favourites and build upon it in order to add fresh and seasonal ideas to the table.
So grab a soup and a sandwich, have the special, or try something new. You are welcome here.
