Happy Camper RV (HCRV) is very pleased to announce new ownership. Founded and operated by the Saunders Family since 1990, Happy Camper was built from the ground up through hard work and dedication. The result has been to be one of the more respected brands in the western Canadian recreational vehicle market.  The tradition of competitive pricing, unmatched service quality and family values has drawn customers from throughout North America to our local area of Edson for over 28 years.

New owners and Edson locals, Kyle and Kara Wanchulak (Grant) are proud and excited to have the opportunity to continue the history of HCRV. In August of 2017, Rick and Joan completed their search for a local buyer to carry on the family owned business.  Born and raised Edsonites,  Kyle and Kara come from families who have operated various businesses in the Yellowhead area for over 50 years. As avid outdoors people, Kara (local Clinical Pharmacist) and Kyle (Instrumentation Manager in the oil and gas industry) are from “Coal Branch” families who have enjoyed and continue to relish the many adventures and experiences of our great outdoors.

The RV industry is ever-changing with new sleek, aerodynamic designs, lighter more fuel efficient material and wifi/satellite integration. From ‘roughing it’, as has long been the case in the old coal dust days, to today’s transitional shift to lifestyle camping (Glamping) Kyle and the professional management team look forward to continue Happy Camper’s strong business tradition while offering the latest models,  advanced technology and accessories in today’s market.
