Despite our best efforts to live healthy, fulfilling lives, life can get messy…I understand. Whether you are facing stressful life events, relationship difficulties, or distressing inner struggles, I believe therapy can be an excellent way to restore mental, emotional and relational health. Space is available for individuals, couples, and children. I have experience with issues of anxiety, depression and grief. I can help with school/workplace bullying, anger, and emotional regulation. I also have experience with issues of trauma and domestic violence. Together we can work on communication and relationship building, adjustments to major life transitions, and family issues.
My role in the therapeutic relationship involves listening to your experience without judgement. I ask questions as you share, working collaboratively to understand what is happening. Most importantly, we discover how you would like to make things different. I offer support, reflection, and feedback. You decide which changes are best.
I use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy & Emotion-Focused Therapy assisting teens to the mature. Couples build sound relationships with Gottman’s Method while children experience Child-Centred Play Therapy with Attachment Theory.
