Maddhatters was launched in 2001 by two guys wanting to shake-up the Grande Prairie bar scene, with a bar that was fresh, unique and exciting from the moment you walked in. Years later, we have established oursleves as more than just Grande Prairie’s premier nightclub/lounge. Expanding into fine wines and high-quality lunch & dinner options, with our award-winning menu that features numerous dishes exclusive to Maddhatters. Our great dishes use products from local farmers such as beef from the 4-H club, free range chicken, turkey, haskap berrys, carrots & potatoes to name a few. Maddhatters has established themselves as Grande Prairie’s hotspot for live acts like dj’s, comedians, country & rock bands. We are a active memeber in Alberta’s Best Bar None which strives to provide the best guest saftey. Our building also features two private rooms –
The Back 80 comfortably seats 60+ppl and features TV’S with all types of inputs for your laptop, an independent sound system making it perfect for company functions, b-day , x-mas parties & business presentations. The Piston Room– features an independent sound system, a large boardroom style table, seating for 8- 10 comfortably along with 2 HDTV’s with an independent satellite receiver, making the room ideal for small meetings, stag/staggettes, and more intimate dinner parties.
