Owners, Lynne and Richard, moved to Vernon in December 1996 and opened Teeter Totter Toys in April 1997. Lynne worked in the toy industry for many years, first as a sales rep for Irwin Toys and later for a toy wholesaler in the Metro Vancouver area. Richard has a business background in economics and finance.

Teeter Totter Toys is an independent specialty toy store stocking a variety of creative and educational toys, games, puzzles and activity kits for all ages. The store offers free gift wrapping and for those wishing to make a donation, 100% of the proceeds are donated to the North Okanagan Neurological Association ( NONA). In addition, the store supports many non-profits (schools, organizations and charities). The store maintains a customer loyalty program as a way of saying,” thank you” to our repeat customers.
