Thorvaldson Care Center is a government approved, family owned and operated Intermediate Care facility – providing care to the elderly since 1959.

Our goal over the years has been to provide a moderately sized, non-institutional environment with services to meet the needs of those in the later stages of life. We cater to those who require more support than what is offered in the community – yet are not quite at the stage that requires placement in a Personal Care home.

Thorvaldson Care Center is a unique option for the elderly, where:

~ Homecare services are unable to provide enough support in the community

~ Other facilities provide a limited level of care

~ Personal Care Home placement would be premature

We seek to maintain a quiet, comfortable atmosphere where our residents can feel cared for and safe in a home-like surrounding. We strive to maintain the health, vitality and quality of life of each of our residents.
